Photo tour of our garden, July 2008

* Added 10 pictures to my flickr account. This walks you through my garden, showing what's in each part and what it looks like right now. Oh yes, and one muskrat sighting photo (not in our garden).

Is that tree dealing with insects, drought, or too much water? I can't ever tell with trees.

Also, cat + wheelbarrow = candidate for LOLCat.

Our apple trees have a condition called cedar apple rust. I've started spraying it with fungicide, but too late to save the crop this year, I'm afraid. The very wet spring we had probably contributed to it; we didn't have has much rain last year, which is probably why it didn't develop nearly as much (from what I can tell from the pictures I took before we bought the house).

I'll pass on your suggestion to my wife, she's the LOLCat expert in house. 8)

Now that is one truly nasty mycota. To get rid of it you have to destroy all cedar trees within 5 miles?! Not really a reasonable solution that.
